We are currently seeking full-time employees to work in our Deburring Department on 2nd shift. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 4PM until 2PM. Compensation rate includes at 10% shift differential. This position is responsible for setting up and operating machinery that grinds, smooths and buffs mass-produced parts. 
Roles and Responsibilities

• Deburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges and chamfering parts by using electrical/air/hand tools.
• Work closely with the machinists and the QC department to improve part quality.
• Self-inspect work and strive for consistent quality within same part work orders and between similar parts and materials.
• Identify and notify quality team of potential defects or non-conforming materials.
• May occasionally perform special projects; perform other duties as assigned.
• Conscientious to always follow company’s safety policies & procedures.
• Use of eye loops, magnifying glasses or scope to ensure quality work.
• Operation of hand drills, air grinders, polishing wheels.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as Roto finish tumbler, tumble blast, and grit blast machine.
• Follow instructions given whether verbal, written or in process document form.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Responsible to visibly spot burs and imperfections on parts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Proficiency with small hand tools used in deburring operations such as but not limited to files, hooks, scrapers, chamfer tools, pin vises, drill bits.
• Good eye and hand coordination and dexterity when working with small parts and pieces and hand tools.
• Team player with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn.
• Trained in the use of cleaning equipment.
• Training on Rosler tumble blast machine’s operation & maintenance.
• Ability to work overtime.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, lifting including up to 25 lbs. on occasion, pushing, and pulling, across various distances and for extended periods of time, are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
